ℹ using Pinata / IPFS gateways — how to get a CID & which gateway to use

What goes in the fields: upload your file to an IPFS pinning service, copy its CID (the bafy… / Qm… hash) into cid, and put the gateway base URL (no /ipfs/…) into gateway. The page builds gateway/ipfs/cid for you.
Pinata: free account at pinata.cloud → upload → copy CID. Two gateways:
• Shared — https://gateway.pinata.cloud (works for anyone, but rate-limited & slow on big files — fine for testing).
• Dedicated — https://YOUR-NAME.mypinata.cloud (faster/reliable; find it in Pinata dashboard → Gateways). Swap YOUR-NAME for yours.
Recommended: main gateway = your dedicated Pinata gateway (or https://ipfs.v4call.com); backup = https://gateway.pinata.cloud (pre-filled) or https://ipfs.io. The player auto-falls-back to the backup if the main is down.
Use 🔎 check & auto-fill on a row to confirm the CID is really served + auto-detect mimetype/bitrate.

ℹ how tags work — communities, discovery & the web3vox tag

Example order: hive-189815 · web3vox · podcast · <subject>
First tag = the post's category. It's permanent — you can edit the other tags later, but not the first one.
• hive-189815 is the web3vox community — putting it first lists your episode in the web3vox community feed (a curated "channel"). Replace it with your own community id (hive-XXXXXX) if you run one, or leave it off entirely to post without a community (then web3vox becomes your first tag — that's the pre-filled default).
• Always keep web3vox in your tags — it's the signal that makes your post discoverable to the web3vox viewer. If you're not in a community, put it first.
• podcast = content type. Then add subject tags (linux, bitcoin…) so people browsing those topics find you.
Community vs. no community: a community gives you a dedicated feed/page, subscribers (people who "follow the channel"), and moderation (you/your mods curate what shows there). Posting without a community still works fully — your episode is found via the web3vox tag and by anyone following your Hive account — you just don't get that channel/feed/moderation layer. Note: a post can be in only one community, chosen permanently at post time. Your Hive account already proves who posted; show/season/episode live in the fields above — so tags are only for discovery, not identity.
